Step 2:
Issue a check for $210.00 made out to "NSP - Eastern Sierra Region" and send it to Emmett At:

Complete class information form and submit Form. Simply sending me this form DOES NOT register you for the class.
Step 3:
Register with the National Ski Patrol as an "Associate Member" (not a candidate) by logging on to www.nsp.org and click on Member sign in and Create Account (Skip this step if you are already an NSP member and have a valid 6-digit NSP membership number and simply sign in with your Username and Password). Annual NSP membership dues are currently $100.00.
Note: First Time NSP registration after July 1, 2024 will be valid to the end of 2025. Registration with NSP prior to July 1, 2024 will only be valid to the end of this year.
Log out then log back in to the NSP site before going to step 4.
Step 4:
Register with NSP for this OEC class:
1.Log in to the NSP Member Site.
2.Click on the box "Center for Learning" top of the page.
3.Click the “Browse Catalog” button on the homepage of NSP Center for Learning.
4.Under Browse by, find and click Outdoor Emergency Care
5.Scroll until you find "Outdoor Emergency Care (Navigate)" with $150 fee (You may have to click "More results" until you see it)
6.Click “Choose session”. Scroll down a bit and press "Show More Sessions" until you see-

8.Look in basket upper right hand corner and click it
9.Hit secure checkout and follow the steps.

Order your Outdoor Emergency Care 6th Edition Textbook and starting reading before the start of class.
As we get closer to the start of class, you'll create a login to the Navigation site which is the online portion of your book. You will use the "coupon code" in the front of the book and the class code that Emmett will provide to you. That class code is specific to each OEC class.
Step 6 (NEW FOR 2024 SESSION):
YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO HAVE A PATROLLER OR PATROLLERS FROM YOUR PATROL TO ASSIST IN MENTORING/HELPING IN YOUR CLASS. PLEASE IDENTIFY AND REPORT THE NAME OF THE PATROLLER/S THAT WILL ASSIST. THE IDENTIFIED PATROLLER/S WILL NEED TO BE AVAILABLE/WILLING TO ASSIST BUT MAY NOT NECESSARILY BE NEEDED. THEIR ASSISTANCE IS ONLY FOR THE PRACTICAL SESSIONS. I WILL CONFIRM WITH HIM/HER/THEM THAT THEY ARE WILLING TO ASSIST AND AVAILABLITY.
